IBF Net is excited to share that its flagship initiative Netversity International has gained institutional accreditation from the UK-based International Association for Quality Assurance in Pre-Tertiary & Higher Education (QAHE). Alhamdulillah.

It is important to note that QAHE and the Accreditation Council for Education (ACE), Indonesia (LAMDIK) have established an Agreement under which both mutually recognize the accreditation awarded by each organization to study programs and educational institutions. (MOU, dated 27/10/2023, Section 1). Similar Agreements with the National Agency for Quality Assurance in Education & Research (Moldova), Agency for Accreditation of Educational Programs & Organizations (Kyrgyzstan), Council on International Higher Education Supervision (Austria), Higher Education Council (HEC), Syria, The Directorate for Research, Planning, and Funding, Republic of Macedonia, etc. open the doors for Netversity International to many more countries.

The announcement by QAHE notes three key factors that contributed to the approval of Netversity’s accreditation. “One, Netversity’s diverse range of courses, from Climate Management with Islamic Finance to Halal Product Management and Islamic Communication, demonstrates a robust and well-rounded educational program that addresses the evolving needs of the modern learner. Two, the impressive roster of scholars and experts associated with Netversity ensures that students will receive instruction from highly qualified and experienced professionals. Three, Netversity’s focus on areas like Halal Social Entrepreneurship and Islamic Environment Management showcases a strong commitment to promoting ethical and sustainable business practices, which is highly valued by QAHE.”

Furthermore, Netversity by IBF Net already has gained accreditation of its individual courses (the latest addition to the list being the Waqf Management course) from the CPD Certification Service, UK. Students completing each course are eligible to earn Continuous Professional Development (CPD) points that are recognized by employers globally. We are seeking accreditation for more number of courses as we launch new ones aiming to cross the 50 course mark in a few months, Insha Allah.

Netversity programs are also endorsed and validated by individual universities such as, IPB University, Indonesia, Trisakti Institute of Tourism, Indonesia and Manipal Globalnxt University, Malaysia under separate Agreements.

Looking back, Netversity earned its first Accreditation from the Finance Accreditation Agency, Malaysia for its Zakat Management Course in 2020. It has kept quality assurance under firm focus ever since as a key component of its long-term growth strategy.
